[Travel] Joyful Trip to Japan in Autumn, 2016 (Day 7)

by - Monday, January 30, 2017

Let's begin my travelogue episode 7 (10 November 2016 – Thursday) about my trip to Japan with my sister. On this day, we're going back to our childhood memories. I think you know what's I mean it is, right?

On last time, I went to Tokyo Disneyland with my friend so this time, I take chance to go Tokyo Disney Sea with my sister. I'm lucky when my sister agrees with my idea. I try to avoid crowded people at Tokyo Disney Sea, especially on the weekend and public holiday in Japan. That why, I choose to go there on weekdays but still same too. What do can I say? This place is famous place in Tokyo, Japan.

Tokyo Disney Sea (東京ディズニーシー) is the theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort located in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan. Just outside Tokyo, Japan and besides the Tokyo Disneyland. We have to take the Disney Resort Line. It's just taking 2 minutes by walk from JR Maihama Station to Resort Gateway Station.

Disney Resort Line is a one-way monorail circling Tokyo Disney Resort with stops at four stations. One loop takes you around to the various Tokyo Disney Resort destinations in about 13 minutes. I have been enjoying a comfortable ride with great views from the Mickey-shaped windows. The fare is JPY 260 (single ticket). The Suica, PASMO, Kitaca, manaca, TOICA, PiTaPa, ICOCA, Hayakaken, nimoca and SUGOCA cards can also be used.

This morning we arrived late at the Tokyo Disney Sea. It's around 9:30 am but our lucky the queue is not long as we expected before this like in Universal Studio Japan (USJ). We just walk straight to the ticket counter for buying our entrance ticket.

I have a little advice to you. The operation time of Tokyo Disney Land and Sea is not same for all the day so it's better you check it before your flight to Tokyo, Japan. Some of the days, they are requiring you to buy the e-ticket before you go to Tokyo Disney Land or Sea because it's maybe packing day of Tokyo Disney for example during Japan school holiday, public holiday or weekend.

Tokyo Disney Sea has an overall nautical exploration theme to it. The idea for the park can be traced to a proposal to built a second theme park in Southern California called "Port Disney" in Long Beach, California, with the RMS Queen Mary as the main attraction.

There are seven themed areas or "port of call". The entrance to the park is Mediterranean Harbor, which opens up to six more nautically themed ports" American Waterfront, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast, and Mysterious Island.

It's like our fun time in USJ; we just play around with the shows at the theme park. It's because we're not of the kind the roller costar people.  We also have fun take a lot of photos in the Tokyo Disney Sea. We take chance to take the picture with Minnie Mouse and Goofy of the famous Disney Cartoon Characters even the queue is quite long.

Normally, I wait until firework at Tokyo Disney Sea but my sister is tired on that day so we're going out early 1 hour before the fireworks. Yes, I'm also tired too. We just straight going back to our hostel and take rest.
