Let's begin my travelogue on the sixth day or the last day I have been in Taiwan. Since our flight on 08:50 am so we just have a breakfast box from the Sinjhuang Chateau de Chine Hotel. We're standby at the lobby around 06:00 am. Then, we're held to the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. The journey by bus is taken around 30 minutes from the hotel.

My Taiwan Trip's Group is ready to going back home. The right is our tour guide, Ms Wendy and the left is our driver bus.

We're straight check-in our luggage at the China Airlines counter when we've arrived at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport – Depart Gate. Since we're booking air ticket by the group so the China Airlines staff is already print our boarding pass before we've arrived there. Its make us easy to proceed our check-in luggage.

After we're received our boarding pass, we need to go the X-Ray Luggage Counter and it's located at the end of the check-in luggage counter. I can see my luggage's x-ray and slowly go inside. I do not face any problem about my luggage, and then we're starting queue for the immigration and checking part area.

TIP – Don't forget to wait for your luggage until pass the x-ray counter before you start the queue for immigration and checking part area. Then, who are booking flight ticket by AirAsia – you need to have arrived at the airport early because it has the long queue at the check-in luggage.

We say goodbye to our tour guide – Ms. Wendy. I will be missing her. I don't know, its Taiwan people like traveling or its have many morning flights? The queue for immigration and checking area is quite long. But it's taken around 40 minutes, maybe. I remember that I just left a few minutes before I get on the plane. So I don't have much time for the look around at the free duty.

The duration journey from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is around 4 hours 40 minutes. This plane is quite big too. The seating arrangement is 3 – 4 – 3 for economy class but if for the premium economy class is 2 – 4 – 2. Our flight no. is CI 0721 (TPE/KUL).

The things from China Airlines that we're got on the plane are the pillow, blanket, and earphone for entertainment. That is standard things in the plane since our journey is least than 5 hours. It's same like I flight from Kuala Lumpur to Taipei.  Even this is the China Airlines; they still can provide the Halal Meals for Muslim customers. Just remember to tick the Halal Meals during when you make the booking of the flight ticket.

The cabin crews are nice to me. They give the snack to customers after 1 hour on air, like the mixed snack and apple juice.  Then they give our lunch, which is Halal meal – chicken curry with rice and apple juice before 2 hours we're landing.

We're safely landing at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on 13:00 pm. Actually, we've quite fast arrived at the Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia rather than we expected landing at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is around 13:30 pm. Just 30 minutes early.

I take chance to shopping at the Free Duty Shops. I was bought the YSL Lipstick Rouge Voluptѐ Shine Oil-in-Stick [Color No. 6] (RM 133.00) & YSL Lipstick Voluptѐ Tint-in-Balm [Color No. 10] (RM 140.00); and the Jo Malone perfume (Both – English Pear & Freesia Cologne) 30 ml (RM 250.00) and 100 ml (RM 486.00). Yes, it's a little bit cheaper bought at the Free Duty Shops.

Did you feel curious it's this time I did send the postcard too from Taiwan? The answer is yes, I did send the postcard from Taiwan to Malaysia. The stamp of the postcard price is NT$ 13 per postcard (RM 1.86) by Air Mail. The duration it's delivered to my house is taken around 7 days working days. Before I forget, I did received the postcard from Perth, Australia. It's the gift from my sister that she holiday to Perth, Australia with her friends, which is the same duration I going holiday to Taiwan with Mama. By the way, thank you sister even this postcard didn't have cop on it. Hihihi

That's all my Taiwan trip stories for 6 days 5 nights with my lovely Mama. I can't wait for my next trip in this year again. Soon I will fly again. I hope these stories will give some information about traveling to Taiwan. Enjoy your reading.

Let's begin my travelogue on the fifth day I have been in Taiwan. We take breakfast at Sinjhuang Chateau de Chine Hotel, around 07:15 am. This day is the last day that I can explore Taiwan before I going back home on next day. I feel like 6 days is not enough to me for exploring Taiwan. I hope someday I will go back Taiwan and I get the chance to explore another place.

The first place we're going in this morning is fruit market. As the tour group request to go cheap fruit market, even it's not having in our itinerary. Yes, our bus driver and also tour guide is so kind-hearted. They try to fulfill our bucket list in Taiwan. It's quite amazing; I can see the daily local market in Taiwan. Since it's local market so most of them can't speak English.

Then, we are going to the Taipei Grand Mosque. The Taipei Grand Mosque is the largest and most famous mosque in Taiwan with a total area of 2,747 square meters. It is located in the Da'an District of Taipei City. It is Taiwan's most important Islamic structure and it was registered as a historic landmark on 29 June 1999 by the Taipei City Government.

We take our lunch at the Taj Indian Restaurant. This time our meal is Indian Cuisine. I was chosen to eat naan with lamb curry. The price this meal per pax is NT$ 350 (RM 50.00). I feel like I going to India when I lunch in this place.

After lunch, we're headed to the Yehliu Geopark. The journey from Taipei City to Yehliu Geopark is taken around 1 hour. The Yehliu (野柳) is a cape in Wanli District, New Taipei, Taiwan. The cape is a known by geologists as the Yehliu Promontory, forms part of the Daliao Miocene Formation. It stretches approximately 1,700 meters into the ocean and it was formed as geological forces pushed the Datun Mountains out of the sea. The entrance fee for the Yehliu Geopark is NT$ 80 – adult (RM 11.50).

A distinctive feature of the cape is the hoodoo stones that dot its surface. These shapes can be viewed at the Yehliu Geopark operated by the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration. A number of rock formations have been given imaginative names based on their shapes. The best known is the "Queen's Head" (女王頭), an iconic image in Taiwan and an unofficial emblem for the town of Wanli. Other formations include the "Fairly Shoe", the "Beehive", the "Ginger Rocks", and the "Sea Candles".

Yes, this place is so beautiful but it's so hot at that moment. I try my best to take the beautiful photos as much as I try in the hot weather.

Then, we're going to the Jiufen Old Street. The Jiufen (九份) is a mountain area in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. During the first years of the Qing Dynasty, the isolated village housed nine families, thus the village would request "nine portions" every time shipments arrived from town. Later Kau-hun (meaning "nine portions" in Hokkien) would become the name of the village.

This place is so packed with tourist; especially from Japan and Korea. So it's hard to me to take the beautiful photo of me at that place. The stairs are quite many and it's making me so tired climb-up the higher level of the Jiufen. By the way, this place is beautiful.

This day made me super tired rather than the previous day I have been in Taiwan. We're back again to Taipei City. We're held to the Yunus Halal Restaurant. The most of our meals is a Chinese and Malay meal's concept like our previous restaurant. The price for per pax is NT$ 400 (RM 57.20).

As you can see, all my meal in Taiwan is average price around RM 50.00. So for Muslim tourist, budget your meal well in Taiwan because the Halal meal in Taiwan is quite expensive than another food.

Tonight I need packing all my stuff and take rest as well. I also need to wake up early on tomorrow, since my flight by China Airlines from Taipei, Taiwan to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is on 08:50 am. So we're needed to be at the airport on 06:50 am. In conclusion, I need to wake up around 04:30 am in the morning.

That's all about the travelogue in Taiwan. Actually, on the sixth day is only about my experience back to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I hope you guys enjoy my stories.

Let's begin my travelogue on the fourth day I have been in Taiwan. We take breakfast at the Shangrila Leisure Farm. Then, we're going back to Taipei City again. We're going to visit the National Palace Museum.

The National Palace Museum has a permanent collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks, making it one of the largest of its type in the world. The collection encompasses 8,000 years of history of Chinese art from the Neolithic age to the modern.

Most of the collections are high-quality pieces collected by the China's emperors. The National Palace Museum shares its roots with the Palace Museum in the Forbidden City, whose extensive collection of artwork and artifacts were built upon the imperial collections of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The most famous masterpiece collections in the National Palace Museum are Jadeite Cabbage or know as Jadeite Cabbage with Insects. It is a piece of jadeite carved into the shape of a Chinese cabbage head, and with a locust and katydid camouflaged in the leaves.

My tour guide was told me the story about the Jadeite Cabbage. The residence of the Qing Empire's Guangxu Emperor's Consort Jin is who probably received it as a part of her dowry for her wedding to Guangxu, in 1889. The symbol of the Jadeite Cabbage is for she can give many children to her family but during her marriage have a tragic and she can't have children. That is my tour guide told me about it.

Then, we're going to the Halal Beef Noodles Restaurant (清真牛肉麵館) for our lunch. Yes, this time we get chance to taste the famous food in Taiwan; which is Beef Noodles. This time, I not sure the prices of our meal since this meal is changing on last minutes so I don't know the actual price. But I saw the poster of one of the beef noodles prices is NT$ 180 (RM 25.80) per bowl. We are not only eating the Beef Noodles only, but they also serve to us the beef dumpling and beef kebab too. It's full table.

Some information about this restaurant:
Address: No. 23, Yanping S Rd, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan 100 (臺北市中正區延平南路23號)
Business Hours: 10:30 am – 08:00 pm
By MRT: MRT Ximen Station, Exit 5 and walk about 5 minutes.

After lunch, we're going to the Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf (淡水漁人碼頭). The Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf is a scenic spot at the western tip of Tamsui District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. Its predecessor was the "Tamsui Second Fishing Port" on the right bank of the Tamsui River estuary, an important fishing harbor in the early history of north Taiwan.

The Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf is well known for its beautiful sunset and fresh seafood. While having sightseeing and leisure facilities, it still holds its functionality as a harbor for fishing boats.

TIP – The Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf has the Tamsui Lover's Bridge; which famous to the couple. I would like to inform that these places quite pack in the weekend. So if you want to take beautiful photos – just avoid to going there on weekend.

Then, we're proceeding to Tamsui Old Street (淡水老街). The Tamsui Old Street is a street in Tamsui District, New Taipei, Taiwan. The street is accessible within walking distance north-west from the Tamsui Station of Taipei Metro.

This place is a nice place for shopping. They are having a lot of things to you for buying as souvenirs. The average prices in here are okay and reasonable for me.

TIP – The standard souvenirs item in Tamsui Old Street that you can buy are T-shirt "I Love Taiwan" NT$ 250 per t-shirt (RM 35.80) [If you bought five (5) t-shirt so just pay total is NT$ 1,000. That means you can get discount NT$ 50 per shirt.] The lipstick box with small mirror is NT$ 20 per item (RM 2.90). If you would like to try the Taiwan skincare product, just buy it at the Watson Store. They willing to tell you the best brand with the best prices.

We're still continuing our shopping, but this time we're going to the Shilin (Shihlin) Night Market (士林夜市). The Shilin Night Market is a night market in the Shilin District of Taipei, Taiwan. It is often considered to be the largest and most famous night market in the city. The night market encompasses two distinct sections sharing a symbiotic: a section formerly housed in the old Shilin Market building, containing mostly food vendors and small restaurants; and the surrounding businesses and shops selling other nonfood items. The food court holds 539 stalls, and the second floor serves as a parking lot for 400 cars.

In addition to the food court, side streets and alleys are lined with storefronts and roadside stands. Cinemas, video arcades, and karaoke bars are also prevalent in the area. Like most night markets in Taiwan, the local businesses and vendors begin opening around 16:00 pm. As students begin returning home from school, crowds reach their peak between 20:00 pm and 23:00 pm. Businesses continue operating well past midnight, closing around 01:00 am or 02:00 am. Shilin Night Market is accessible via the Taipei Metro Line 2 at the Jiantan Station.

TIP – For me, the most expensive things that sell at the Shilin Market is the fruits. So you need be careful during you looking something at this area and take care also your bag from the pickpocket, especially during the peak hours.

After we're tired shopping, then we're going to the Kunming Islamic Food Restaurant for our dinner. The most of our meals is a Chinese and Malay meal's concept. The price for per pax is NT$ 400 (RM 57.20).

Our last activities of the day are Taipei 101 or also as the Taipei World Financial Center. It is a landmark supertall skyscraper in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building was officially classified as the world's tallest in 2004 and remained such until the completion of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai in 2010. In 2011, the building was awarded the LEED platinum certification, the highest award according to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system, and became the tallest and largest green building in the world. In used to have the fastest elevator in the world, traveling at 60.6 km/h and transporting passengers from the 5th to 89th floor in 37 seconds. In 2016, the title for the fastest elevator was given to one in Shanghai Tower.

The construction of the 101-story tower started in 1999 and finished in 2004. The tower has served as an icon of modern Taiwan ever since it's opening. The building was architecturally created as a symbol of the evolution of technology and Asian tradition. Its postmodernist approach to style incorporates traditional design elements and give them modern treatment. The tower is designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes. A multi-level shopping mall adjoining the tower houses hundreds of stores, restaurants, and clubs. Most of the store in Taipei 101 is a high-class brand.

We're check-in back our hotel at the second day we are staying in Taipei, Taiwan; which is the Sinjhuang Chateau de Chine Hotel. We stay to have the same room like our room on the second day. This is our last hotel that we have to change around Taiwan. We have to stay at this hotel until we're going back to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In my opinion, this is the best hotel ever among all hotel I have stayed around Taiwan on this trip. That is all my stories in Taiwan for the fourth day. I hope you guys enjoy it.
