Nina Enany: 2016

A few days left before we're going to say goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017. I don't notice that faster time to pass. I also don't know how to decide my feeling. Sometimes, I'm scared to think about what will happen in future. It's I'm getting well prepare for something I don't know what's will happen soon? Honestly, for me, this year is the toughness ever in my life but I'm trying my best to stay strong forgo thru this beautiful life.

I know this life, not like the fairy tale stories but I still like my life. This year of 2016, I going thru many things that I never imagine before this then it's become reality to me.

On January 2016, I have two important events in my daily; which are fourth year anniversary my blog of Nina Neulrin and my birthday. I would like to say thank you for who always support me until today. I appreciate it so much. I don't know how to describe in words.

On February 2016, I take a short holiday with my mom and sister at Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Most of those moments, we are going to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam just for shopping ‘baju Raya'. At the same time, to celebrate my birthday too. I'm so happy along this vacation because I can release my stress for a moment.

On March 2016, the most months for some traveler waiting for like me. It's MATTA Fair 2016 at PWTC KL, Malaysia. This fair is for travelers make the survey about their next trip based on their budget and dream destination. Among some, the travelers can get the reasonable price too like me. That why, I share some tips for newbie travelers in my blog for their extra knowledge.

On April 2016, in the first time in my life; I got the chance to explore Turkey with my family. Such as the wonderful family holiday to me. I feel excited to going holiday at Turkey in my first time and everything is new to me.

On May until June 2016, I just share my experience holiday at Turkey from the first day until the eleventh day. Even it's great memories and bad memories; I feel it does have to share all the Turkey Trip to all my readers. Maybe some of you have planning to go there soon. Who knows? Just enjoy your vacation.

On July 2016, the most wanted book I waiting for is release in Malaysia. The book I mean is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Part 1 & 2. I hope can get the chance to watch this movie soon. I'm excited when I finish read this book. I can't imagine how these movies look like soon. Actually, this book is like the script and I took the time to understand it but its fun and excited.

On August until October 2016, I not really have the mood to update some stories on my blog. It's because some things happen to my life; which is my lovely dad is pass away on 6th September 2016. It's such as the big deal to me for handle my life after that. I try my best to stay strong and positive forgo thru my life after this. I know my mom is strongest women. Everything is about time.

On November 2016, it's time to me for relaxing my mind a while. I and my sister take the vacation to Japan for 11 days 9 nights. We're going to Osaka, Nara, Kobe, Kyoto, Tokyo, Universal Studio Japan (USJ), Mount Fuji, and Tokyo DisneySea. We are also taken the chance trip by Shinkansen (Japan bullet train) from Kyoto to Tokyo. I also share some information about this holiday too; even I do not yet share my experience during my trip to Japan. Maybe on January 2017, I will start the post about this trip soon.

There are some stories along the year 2016. Some of it is wonderful memories and some of it is painful memories to me but I know my life does not stop yet. I still have a lot of things to do in my bucking list. Although, I still in sad moments but I have to try my best to move on and stay strong for my mom. She is everything for me now.

On my previous post about "Let's Explore Japan in Autumn, 2016" – I already tell my next trip in 2016 to Japan with my sister. Thanks to her, I can go to Japan again after 2 years. I miss so much Japan. This time, I take the chance to explore Japan in different angles, which are in Japan's culture, foods, entertainment, fashion and more.

Actually, we are planning this trip quite long time ago until we're got the match of the travel date to go Japan. Last 2 years ago, I went to Tokyo, Japan with my friend. Now, I will visit Japan as many states around Japan as I could with my sister – since she never goes to Japan before this so that the strong reasons I want to visit as many places on this time vacation at Japan. For sure, we are so excited!

Here, I will expose the small part of my travel's cost to Japan.

Destination: Osaka, Nara, Kobe, Kyoto, Tokyo, Mountain Fuji, Universal Studio Japan, and Tokyo Disney Sea. (Almost 65 locations, we'll visit soon).

Duration: 03 November 2016 – 13 November 2016

Flight: Malaysia Airlines (KUL/KIX/NRT/KUL) = RM 1,870

Stay around Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo = JPY 52,500

Entrance Ticket Fee: Universal Studio Japan (JPY 7,400), Tokyo Disney Sea (JPY 7,400), Umeda Sky Building (JPY 800) and Kobe Mysteries Consulate of Trick Art (JPY 800).

Public Transportation – Subway Metro, JR Train and Shinkansen (Kyoto to Tokyo) = JPY 54,720

Japan rate = 0.0294 (Exchange rate currency JPY on end of 2015, this rate based I had change JPY currency before)

Total in Japan Yen = JPY 123,620

Cost in Japan Yen = JPY 123,620 x 0.0294 = RM 3,635

Total cost = RM 5,505

That all my cost from now, I am not put together the meals cost because I not sure how much the cost of meals in Japan. It also depends on me, if I got really tired I'm sure I just need to sleep only. That why I did not put the meals cost in here. I will update my stories and actual cost during this trip soon after me back from Japan.

Did you wondering, how can I get the cost? How am I planning this trip? Sure, I would like to share some trip with my blog readers.

The first step – I will make the survey about the destinations I want to go there by taking information such as subway station name, exit no or name, subway line, time operation the business, entrance ticket fee (if have), and the important part is the direction of that places. Then I mix and match all the location by near the subway station so I can manage my time during this trip. I also can minimize the time if I got lost in there. For sure I will lose, it's not impossible but don't worried – it makes the new experience and adventures. A little bit reminder, if you going with someone – please make discussion with them before making any decisions. Try to download the Japan Rail Map on the phone; I'm sure it's so useful, especially when you want to know the location of the subway station. I put all the information I needed just in one itinerary.

The second step – try to set up your date traveling based on which seasons you want to travel. For example me, I want to try travel to Japan in the autumn season. That why I choose travel date on early November 2016. It's the right date for looking red and yellow leaves. Then, when the promotion flight ticket comes I directly booking the flight ticket. It's simple, right? But I have to survey as many as I can until I got news about the promotion price from airlines were open.

The third step – survey about the hotel or hostel around Japan, based on the travel budget. If found the hostel lightly like based on the environment, comfortable, and the building is nice, then directly booking. So it's final step of pre-planning vacation as free and easy.

The fourth step – play with exchange currency rate. I was tried to monitor the exchange currency rate based on the daily basis. When I got the low rate, I directly exchange the currency as much as I can during that time. It's tricking but its fun too.

The final step – get ready to packing the luggage. Normally, I always got the problem during packing time. It's because I was confused about the style fashion. Of course, I want to look beautiful and stylish during my trip. But my mom and sister always help me on this. Their opinion always helps me to get some idea.

Only five steps, I was taken and keep practice when I was planning my next vacation as free and easy either with my family or my friends. It's simple. Just make yourself confident thru traveling as free and easy. That's all. Hope everything in planning thru well and wonderful.

Quotes of this year, Life is full of Possibilities. I fall in love with these quotes. It's meaningful to me. Of course, it is related to my life's stories. This year is the tough year to me; I have to stay strong and positive to face all this. Thank you to my lovely parents and sister, who always give me wonderful advice. Honestly, I pretty stress to handle works at the office. At the same time, I have to monitor some of the projects under my blog. Many things, I have to steal by myself but I believe that my life is full of unlimited possibilities.

That why I have made myself stay on the right path all the times. This is the way for making my life going smooth and great, even I have to face some problems.

Make Planning

On every morning, the first thing I was doing is checking my schedule and emails. I don't want to miss the important things on the day. Coffee is the great partner to me on the morning. I take around 1 hour to checking my schedule and emails before I start my works. It's because sometimes I have important emails that related to my works. Then I make To Do List of which partly works I have to do first. It makes I feel relief and happy when I did properly of my works.

Stay Focus + Positive

Try to stay focus on what's I'm doing from the beginning, especially on the project and the collaboration project of my blog. Once, I decide to make the new project by myself or I'm joining the collaboration project – I have to stay focus on that project until the end. I'll try my best on that project even I have to face my things. I know when I fall in love just one thing, I was not easy to give up even I have many problems. I also will show the interest to another thing if it's related too. Maybe I look like a multitask person. While I stay positive in what's I doing, I will be fine and great. Oh, yeah! Set mind to thinks positive. Positive… Positive… Positive… Sure the positive aura will come to me.

Opportunity

The opportunity is not always come, especially the great opportunity. So sometimes I just grab any opportunity that comes to me while it's related to blogging project. But I will have to look the term and condition of that project and also I will make some survey about it before I make any decision. Mostly, I received the good news from oversea. Of course, I was feeling so happy and wonderful when I was giving the new experience from them – who are believe my talents. I just need to believe in myself.

We safely arrive at Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar on 21:35 pm (Qatar's Time). Mr. Zues is straight checking our Gate No. for next flight from Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), since we just transit a few hours at Doha, Qatar.

After everything is done, we straight walk to the transit line, which is we have to thru the body checking before we are free for our own activities. It's quite surprising when I arrive at the body checking counter. The line is too short, maybe its night flight is not many and just our plane landing on that time so it's taken short time only. So we have almost 5 hours before next our flight on 02:50 am (Qatar's Time).

Nothing much can I do at Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar because I feel so tired, sleepy, and I also don't have the mood to shopping. Just walk around before waiting and take a nap during waiting duration.

The duration journey from Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia is around 7 hours 25 minutes. This plane is quite big too. The seating arrangement is 2 – 4 – 2. Our flight no. is QR0846 (DOH/KUL). We also got the arrival blue cover of Qatar Airways boarding pass.

The things from Qatar Airways that we're got on the plane are refreshment towel, pillow, blanket, small bag, and earphones for entertainment. The special about inside the small bag are eyes mask, teeth brush, stocking, and earmuffs. It's same like our flight from Kuala Lumpur to Doha on the first day my vacation.

Even though, I seating at economy class areas but it's so comfortable and nice too. The seating space on the plane is also just nice. Their cabin crews are nice and friendly to me. If not a mistake, our plane is having cabin crew from Malaysia Airlines because the one of the cabin crew is speaking Malay with my sister and me when he serves us.

This time does not have menu catalog but since its night flight, we got 2 times meals, which are the first is snack then after following hour's main menu. The meals on the plane I choose from Doha, Qatar to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are chicken sausage and potato like before too. Everything flight with Qatar Airways is the BEST. I miss these moments so much.

We safely arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on 30 April 2016 (Saturday), around 15:15 pm. That mean our vacation at Turkey is already the end, 11 days 8 nights with wonderful memories. Now my dad non-stop talks about this trip, he loves so much. I'm happy when all is happy too.

Before I forget the postcard of my sister and I am arriving after 1 month at our home. They just use air mail, which is not having the stamp on our postcards. At first, I thought I can see the Turkey stamp but I don't know they use air mail to send our postcard. It's okay since we already got our postcard.

Day 10 is my last day in Istanbul, Turkey. I was feeling sad to say goodbye to Turkey. I miss this vacation so much; even my parents too have the same feeling with me.

This is the pure honey with bread.

We enjoy our last breakfast at the hotel before start our last tour. This time, I get the chance to taste the pure honey at Istanbul, Turkey. It's special and delicious.

On last day at Istanbul, Turkey does not have too many activities. Just we have to enjoy a sublime Bosphorus Private Cruise. A Bosphorus Private Cruise on the 32 km (20 miles) – long strait which joins the Sea of Marmara to the south with the Black Sea to the north of Istanbul.

This Bosphorus Private Cruise is taken around 30 minutes sightseeing tour along the river Bosphorus. I can see the both side of Istanbul, which are Europe side and Asia side along the river Bosphorus. The view is so beautiful. We also received the snacks and drinks on the cruise. It's the best.

Then, we take early lunch at Citadel Hotel Restaurant Istanbul. Our last lunch at Turkey is western style meals, which is chicken chop and its set menu too. It starts with soup and bread, salad, some like an egg (but I forget what its name is), chicken chop and lastly deserts of chocolate pudding.

After lunch, we straight go to Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW) for going back home. Ms. Gulhan says normally traffic jam from Istanbul city to airport. It's true. Actually, the journey from city to airport is not far but it's because of the traffic jam, it's taken around 1 hour.

We arrive early at the airport. Then, we steal our group check-in luggage at Qatar Airways counters and received our boarding pass. Before I go into the waiting room, I run to post office at the airport for post the postcard. My sister and I just play to post our postcard to our home. The cost is TLR 6.40, around RM 9.60. This is the second time we play to post the postcard to our home at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – after our holiday at Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam on early in this year. Maybe we will continue to do this in future because it's so fun for making our souvenir.

For your information Istanbul, Turkey have two airports, which are Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW) and Ataturk International Airport (IST) so just be careful before going to airport – double check your flight detail. Our flight from Istanbul, Turkey to Doha, Qatar is on 17:25 pm. This flight journey is taken 4 hours 10 minutes. Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW) is quite small to me. It's same like Haneda International Airport when I went to Tokyo, Japan.

This plane is small like our flight from Doha, Qatar to Ankara, Turkey. The seating arrangement is 3 – 3. The things from Qatar Airways that we're got on the plane are refreshment towel, pillow, blanket, and earphones for entertainment. It's okay because our duration is just 4 hours from Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, Istanbul, Turkey to Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar. We're the flight on 17:25 pm (Turkey's Time). Our flight no is QR0244.

Back to my first-time experience vacation at Turkey, for our meals along this vacation – they only serve us the plain waters only. They not like us in Malaysia that has air sirap and more. They are very good to care their own healthy. Then, most of our hotel is good but just about plain water to drink in the room is limited. Kindly, buy extra the plain water at the convenience store. They do not recommend drinking water by resources from bathroom pipe in the room. So it is better if you just buy the plain water at the convenience store. It is not too expensive too. The last tips, when you take the vacation at Turkey like me which are traveling a lot of places around Turkey – just buy the souvenirs that you like it because every place has different kinds of souvenirs. Not have to wait until you reach at Istanbul to buy it. I'm sure you will regret it. The most my favorite souvenirs is Turkish Delight. It's so delicious.
